Tax Payments in Crypto Currencies to be accepted in Zug

Zug, one of Switzerland’s 26 cantons, has announced that from February 2021 it will accept Bitcoin or Ether as tax payments. Companies and individuals will be able to make payments up to CHF100,000, with the canton’s Finance Director, Heinz Tännler, saying that it is important for the canton to ‘further promote and simplify the use of crypto currencies in everyday life.’
