Doppelmayr is joining SwissCham
2002 saw the merger of two leading ropeway manufacturers with a long tradition: Doppelmayr and Garaventa. This gave rise to the Doppelmayr/Garaventa Group with its main plants in Wolfurt (AUT) a Goldau (CHE) as global competence centers for circulating ropeway systems such as gondolas and chairlifts as well as reversible aerial tramways and funicular railways. It is here that the technology which has earned these two companies a worldwide reputation is designed and engineered.
