Fracht expands in Brazil

Fracht Basel, Switzerland acquired a majority shareholding in CTI Cargo, Brazil on 3 January 2017.  CTI was founded 12 years ago and has successfully increased its market share year after year in general freight forwarding as well as project transports and heavy lifts.  CTI’s main activities are in the North East of Brazil with head office in Fortaleza – Av Des. Moreira, 2800 –Sl603 – Ed Santo Amaro - Dionísio Torres Cep: 60.170-172 – Fortaleza – CE - T +55 85 3215.4300 and branch in Recife.  The company has a third fully operational office in Blumenau in the South.  Fracht Australia’s Managing Director, Peter Pluess says  “CTI’s strengths and locations are a perfect match for the existing Fracht organisation in Brazil which now boasts a total of nine offices in all major gateways.  CTI will become a 100 per cent subsidiary of Fracht within two years.”
